Making an Entrance

When was the last time someone made a dramatic, undeniable entrance into your life? Maybe it was a celebrity or someone you know and love and haven't seen in a long time. What kind of impression did they make on you?
On that 1st Palm Sunday, there were those who experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus as He entered the holy city to the praises of the people. Some missed the significance of His entry through the Eastern Gate, on a colt, as the people laid their garments before Him. Others saw long awaited prophecies about the Messiah coming to life before their eyes.
What do you see when you look at Him? Do you see Him for who He is? How has He tried to make an entrance into your life? Have you allowed Him in? What would you life look like if you did? What if you let Him in to all the areas of your life?
Take time to thank God for sending Jesus into our world, to save us from sin and death. Allow Jesus to enter your heart, if not for the first time, then on a deeper level. And watch how God uses you to help Jesus make an entrance into the lives of others.
