Last week we discussed that God does not desire for any of us to fear. We read in Isaiah 40 how God made promises to His people: He promised to be with them, to protect them, to "Stand in the gap" for them, if you will. What does that message mean for us today? When faced with the fears that grip us, how does God's message of presence and power affect our daily living?
Take time to reflect and meditate on the word God has given us about fear. Take it to heart and then "take heart", knowing that Christ has overcome the world. (John 16:32-33)
