Taming The Tongue

Today we talked about the power of our words and the challenges we face when trying to make sure our words match our walk. We know firsthand the creative and the destructive power our words can have. We have all said things we wish we hadn't or thought of things we wish we had. We have seen the joy on the faces of those we love when we praise them and we have felt the sting of words that can cut like a knife.
I challenged you to take the opportunity to speak "life" into the lives of those around you. Did you do it? Have you seen the power your words can have? If not, it is never too late. Remember, our words can build up or tear down. Let's strive to speak words of truth, peace, grace and love and represent Him well!
